With so much going on in entertainment and lifestyle this week, I had to round it up into one post so you get a quick update on the latest and greatest.
Tyrese Gibson appeared on the Wendy Williams show and spoke about his upcoming appearance on Empire as a love interest for Taraji P. Henson aka Cookie Lyons. Gibson says he and Henson have such great chemistry (since they starred together in Baby Boy) and it’s time for him to ‘get his girl’.
Also coming to ABC is a comedy series based on the life of Nicki Minaj. Hello Beautiful reports that the show will focus on Nicki’s Queens upbringing in an immigrant family during the 90s and exploration of music, which all led to her rise to stardom.

This December, Mariah Carey will debut her MAC cosmetics collection with her ‘All I Want’ lipstick named after her hit holiday song. Carey is a long time wearer of MAC cosmetics and has plans to expand to a full beauty icon collection.
The 75-year old fashion industry icon, Ralph Lauren is stepping down as CEO of his company but will remain the executive chairman and chief creative officer. Stefan Larsson, a former H&M executive and the current president of Old Navy, will be taking over and reporting to Lauren starting in November.
